Common questions
Do you take a percentage of my Plaud audio?
No. The audio lives on your Plaud account and the segmented transcript is delivered through your Gmail. micoco.ai reads emails matching the [memib] subject line and writes to your Supabase. We don't store your audio.
Why a private Supabase per user?
Multi-tenant databases mean your memories share a row table with someone else's. We refused that trade-off. Each subscriber gets their own Supabase project with their own keys. The cost shows up in our pricing — and in our sleep.
What if I cancel?
Your Supabase project is exported to a single archive (SQL + JSON), emailed to you, and then destroyed. Plaud audio and Gmail data stay in your accounts, untouched.
Are you HIPAA covered?
Plaud.ai is SOC 2 + HIPAA certified (April 2025), so the audio capture and parsing already meet the bar. micoco.ai itself is HIPAA-ready — the architecture is built to standard, and the Agency tier includes a full BAA chain (Plaud, Supabase, Vercel, email provider, customer organization). Solo and Family tiers are sold direct to consumers and operate on your own accounts; we don't sign BAAs at those tiers.
